The TEMPEST follows in the wake of its very successful predecessors - the Tornado 11 and Tornado XX. It grew in size markedly, retaining the excellent flight characteristics of its forerunners. Thanks to the large size the in-flight behaviour of the Tempest is of a more "grown-up" nature.

The building process does not differ substantially from that of the flying wings for combat flying.

Addition of tubular glassfibre spars brought more rigidity to the model.

To facilitate transport the wing is in two parts; the control is provided by an ordinary RC equipment.
